Maximum lowest temperature for Japanese Maples

MKS and CGS are the same metric system and the international standard. Not doubting about the NASA incident, but I find really ackward that science men failed such a basic procedure. I am not allowed to publish anything without indicating the units. If they failed at that they should be fired.

A matter I will concern myself with when I find myself building a Mars probe.
The takeaway from that mistake really isn't that we should all use the Imperial system, it's that we shouldn't forget to put the units of measurement next to our numbers. You'd have run into the same problem if one team assumed everyone was operating on the MKS standard while everyone else was using the CGS standard.
Since people forget to do that, using the same system reduces the odds of having problems.
But in general are you suggesting that standards do not matter?

The exact opposite.
