Nice! How long has it been in the pot? I've been wanting to pot up one here into one of my keepers, but it seems like I just can't make the time to get it done. I'm hoping to snatch up one of the shimpaku's I have growing out back later today.

It’s been in there for about 48 hours

It is a cutting I took last summer! I will remove some of the sphagnum once it has a chance to get settled in to the pot.

Here's a fantastic display by @lieuz he used two mame pots from the last batch as accents during the NVBS summer show this past weekend. I thought he did an awesome job putting this display together.

Sooo, when can we expect the shohin sized batch? I have 2 small ficus that I am itching to move into a bonsai pot and all the pots I have, a grand total of 5, are too big for them.

I'm in the process of building a loft bed for my daughter so thats taking priority right now. Probably sometime in July I'll start back up with the pottery.

Pretty soon I'll be back at it. I got a new wheel that's larger than this one, but still smaller than the standard size. I may start a new thread with that one.
