This pot has a fantastic glaze, but because of the shape of the pot you have to turn it over to appreciate it.

Which one for this pot....Pine or Juniper? It might become a keeper. Solid black unglazed.
I got a box from pitoon just a few minutes ago... after removing all the remarkable packaging (I would have just thrown it in a bubble mailer!) I found a little metallic red drum pot. I don't own any red pots so I was no sure how to use it. I put a 5 yo washington hawthorn with nice nebari in it. It will eventually be chopped to half this size once it back buds. Spectacular pot and I think it will make a nice pairing one day.

You wasted no time getting something into that drum!
That hawthorn is spectacular. Very nice root spread on that one for sure. Is the flowers white or pink? The pot has a copper glaze and with white flowers should match up perfectly.
It always nice to see pots I made in use.

Got the pot, such great packaging and the wooden box. Then opening up that box to find a felt wrapped pot just as I planned with Pitoon back when I first hit him up. Can’t wait to use it. Really great across the board. Top class.
