I found interesting that it didn't make it through the winter as they are endemic to Patagonia where temps can go as low as -20°C (-4°F I think). I'd expect them to be more robust than that. Do you remember what temperatures you had that winter ?

I don't recall the temperatures, I know it was frozen under ice and snow for almost 2 weeks. I bought another one, it is still in the 4" pot I received it. Will probably move it into a bigger pot soon. This one is not as interesting as my first one.
