little white pine

Looks good from the pic, but if possible please share some before pics. And also a pic without the bat signal in the background.
You are in great hands with BVF.

Hard to see from the photos, try posting a better shot. But NY is right, you are in most capable hands!

When the sun comes out I am Going to take a few more. Can somebody tell me how to post pictures in the original post?

This has a very nice flow to it. Reminds me of one of Rob's, which is a compliment for sure!

You can't repost to a post if the editing window has been closed after a certain amount of time has elapsed.

Great job with it and nice photo!
Had to go look and see if mine was still there.....

Ok, it's there....real similar trunk lines and such, right? Cool.:D

I tried to do more of a wind swept. I twisted the top and wired all the branches to the left. Maybe mine will look like Lance's one day.

Before And After
I really like the tree photographed with the angle to the trunk (photo number 2 in this post). I see people post angled trees, they look good, however, I seldom see people actually plant the tree at that angle. Seems it's just conversation...or perhaps the angle doesn't really work in person with the tree. Anyway....nice angle. Keep up the excellent work on the tree.

I like what you guys have done. Looks really nice, if not telling a more believable story. With the twisted trunk and everything, just looks a bit more congruous.
Here is what mine looked like as purchased....

Re-wired it a bit and orientated the tips to point up and towards the sun. It seemed to appreciate that. Try not to over fert in the spring, the needles got long on me.....
I'm a complete hack, learning as I go. Your lucky to have BVF to help guide you, take advantage of that resource!
Most important, have fun.:D

Really? Seems like if a tree is styled with a new intended planting angle, it would be counter productive to plant it any other way. With big planting angle changes, use a wire staple to establish the style's new orientation. This way, when repotting several months or a year later, you can preserve the intended angle.

Lewis, good work. In this session, the main goal was to continue the trunk movement shown in the lower section in the upper section. It will make for a more dynamic tree later. We'll get the branches to tighten up and make some nice pads next year.
