I really like the tree photographed with the angle to the trunk (photo number 2 in this post). I see people post angled trees, they look good, however, I seldom see people actually plant the tree at that angle. Seems it's just conversation...or perhaps the angle doesn't really work in person with the tree. Anyway....nice angle. Keep up the excellent work on the tree.Before And After
I tried to do more of a wind swept. I twisted the top and wired all the branches to the left. Maybe mine will look like Lance's one day.
Really? Seems like if a tree is styled with a new intended planting angle, it would be counter productive to plant it any other way. With big planting angle changes, use a wire staple to establish the style's new orientation.
