Overall dimensions: 48"x30"x3.75" display table.
Insert measures 45"x27.5".
It comes with a custom-made shipping/storage crate measuring 51"x33"x6".
Built by Tom Scott many years ago for a large formal upright bald cypress that won Best of Show at the Chicago Botanical Gardens Midwest Bonsai Show.
Original cost was close to $1,000.00.
I will sell it for the best reasonable offer.
It has some minor surface scratches/blemishes that can be fixed.
See the photos for details/construction.

Off topic.....love my Bowflex dumbells!!!!!!!!!!!!
I spy them in the background.
Sweet stand....If only I had something proper to put on it!!

If you sell it with the BC I'll give you what you paid for it ;)

That's a beautiful table indeed!
I sold the cypress already, so no can do. Sorry.
I should have mentioned, that's not the cypress the stand was built for. The other was a true formal upright and much nicer.

Hey, it was worth a shot. Is that the cypress in a photo with a shed door behind it or something like that? I seem to remember seeing a photo of it somewhere a couple years back.

Yep, that's the one I was thinking of but it's obviously not the same tree. Thanks for showing it again.

With prices like that I could retire and become a stand builder.
You should sell stands. I've seen your work.
But then, not long into doing it, you'd be wondering why you thought it would be worth doing because it became a job and you did not enjoy doing it any more.

Hey, thats exactly why I don't do it. I love building them and would probably build more a year if I lived in a better climate. I have a couple months a year I can even stand to go into the garage all day.

True story, I went up to Don's to pick up my first "real" bonsai, and he had a kiddie pool in front of his greenhouse, that had a Giant BC filling that pool. I will never forget the sight of that.
