Large collected Elm

I agree if I could find the Siberian elm verses the American elm. The American elm does not have near the bark features that both of you are getting with the Siberian elm.
I love elm. I have a bunch of stumps actually that i don’t want. American Japanese Chinese and siberian. Already dug them up and stuff not as thick but healthy
I would be a buyer for an elm stump like this if someone has one they would sell. I have American elm but not as nice bark as OP.

Really nice work Danny. It has so much promise. If you don't I'd like to make one quick comment. I would bring one of the two branches up top down and treat it more as a side branch. At the moment I cannot help to see a horned cyclops staring at me!
Thanks for chiming in Sergio! Your feedback is always welcome. For Halloween, cyclops is just in time! For the rest of the year, not so much. 😂. I def see what you’re talking about. I can’t wait for the leaves to fully drop so I can address the structure more and that visual in particular.

Funny enough, I was thinking the same as Mach. I kept seeing an Ox at the top with the horns. Was waiting to see it naked, but what Mach suggested is a good idea💯

It definitely has the spook factor now😱
Amazing what a bit of wire can do.
This new direction suits the material.

Maybe a stony slab one day, with a gravestone🪦😉

Repotted the tree about a month ago. Changed the repot angle slightly to begin exposing the roots on the bottom right side of the trunk that I’ve been working on growing out. I think in the next five or so years I can get those roots to swell enough to balance the base more.
