Just bought this Brazilian a day ago and is my first bonsai. The tree was bought from an older Asian couple that runs a bonsai shop from a house and I was told this tree has been being trained for 2-3 years. I live in Michigan so the tree will be inside until the warmer months. It’s kept by a large sliding balcony window that has plenty of natural sunlight coming in. I bought this lamp and bulb to use for the last little bit of gloomy winter days. Should I keep the bulb on it while it’s getting the natural light or do one or the other? Is there anything else I should do to it or just focus on keeping it Alive until the warmer months before I start practicing my bonsai keeping?
