Just bought a couple of bonsai and need loads of help

Just joined, wanted to say this was a very useful post for me as well. I think I have pretty much killed my favorite, a double white serissa. I moved, it almost survived, then I think I over watered it in cold climate (NH). VERY sad. But the note about particle media was very helpful!!

Well said. You have exactly the right attitude to be successful. Don't lose that humility as you gain experience. I say that because everyone does, myself included. It's a struggle to remain humble as you gain confidence.

Agreed. It was my first qualified success. I’m very sad. But when I can start a new one I think I will incorporate the old one into the new landscape. As a kind of reminder.
