OK, I realized when I was preparing this post that I was willy-nilly posting elm shot and did not name the threads in a way that I could easily update.

This one is Shohin size, and while it survived in the tiny shallow pot that I had put it in, I felt that it needed a little more to thrive, so it got a new pot:

It has nice movement. Good one,!
The soil seems a bit large though

Just curious....why such a big Particle size on your soil? Is that Purposely done or is it just what you had? I tend to use smaller particles for developing root spreads but I guess your tree is much farther along then most of my material so maybe I answered my own question. Nice tree btw looks like something I'm developing but much farther along by years.
