Good Saturday afternoon,

Today I took my juniper into my club and one of the long standing members helped develop it a little further and went over some basics again which I found immeasurable that they offered their expertise. The chopsticks will stay in for a year or so, according to them, to help thicken up since upon my first repotting, there was almost no rootball. Thoughts?

I was hoping to also hear feedback on the fact that I also spent for the first time an afternoon collecting moss for the first time.

Thank you.

I find it difficult to say anything about your plant because it's pictured with a similar plant in the background. I find it difficult to see which is which.

If you can make a picture of the plant alone with a backdrop, I believe more people will provide you some feedback.

I don't understand how chopsticks help thicken a tree trunk? Or what that has to do with 'almost no root ball'?
Second the motion for better photos in order to offer suggestion on wiring and styling.

How’s this? I was lead to believe the chopsticks were to help keep the trunk anchored in addition to the aforementioned comments.
