I was gifted a Juniper Bonsai (I think) and I believe I have a Juniper in my backyard. Should I "mix" them?

OK, so "mix" wasn't the right word. But, I seriously think I have a Juniper in my backyard. See the first photo below... It's only like 18 off the ground and takes up about 2'x3'. I need to get Juniper Bonsai outside soon (I'm in MI, the temperatures are slowing starting to get warmer). I'd like to plant this next to the other juniper. Should I just snuggle the little Bonsai in the larger Juniper (I'd secure it obviously)?

Wherever you plant it, you want to make sure it gets as much direct sun as possible. So if the larger juniper will shade it out, put it further away.
