According to this report it's a BLACK panther. Cougars are brown/beige.

Interesting....something else to watch for outdoors. My only experience seeing a Panther is probably in the Jungle Book movie.....but that Panther talks.

A big cat that can not be domesticated, somewhat more dangerous than the lion.

Huh? Having lived in Utah, I'll take a mountain lion over a 300-400lb African lion any day.
