Lol. No i use the rocks because I have no wire to keep it form wiggling and I used the wood glue as a substitute for cut paste.
Honestly though I don't get the point in cut paste cause I don't understand what it does. I mean I know it prevents wood from drying and ergo dying back, but in my mind I don't really see some goop helping out much.
What is cut paste made of? Is there material that isn't cut paste but could do the same function? What is the specific function of cut paste? Is cut paste expensive gray play-doh?

With anti fungal properties ....
That don't work.
I'm using Loctite G02 Glue...
It stays flexible...but gives a surface a callous will heal over...
It reacts funny with ficus sap...
But I have some in what was a dry spot, and the callous has touched it and appears to be growing over.
The other on on elm..
To keep it from rotting.
It is healing over to...but more, moving the glue as it does.
Duct seal works good.
@Leo in N E Illinois did you use any of that stuff I gave you yet?

Pop a clear plastic bag from the supermarket over the top and it will but out in no time. Defintely privet....if you can actually kill it that would be skill. These things are rediculous.... fun to work on. They take alot of abuse
