I used the 3 in 1. The label includes mites. Is this wrong?
If the label includes mites, your are GOOD! I'm not familiar with 3 in 1, but Bayer is reputable, it will most likely work if used at the concentrations recommended. Very good.
Sorry. past experience is why I barked. I often decline to give pest control advice that includes recommending chemicals because of worries that people won't follow the directions. In the orchid world I had someone try to blame me for their orchid losses (wanted plants or $$$) from me because their not reading labels resulted in dead orchids. The nightmare could be worse, at least they did not claim my recommendation poisoned their cat.
So if there is a take away, be cautious, read labels, follow directions, including repeat applications at the interval recommended and follow safety precautions. Most of the manufacturers have pretty good info if you take the time to dig.
I agree with Grim, most home remedies are ineffective, especially if you have more than 10 plants. Sure, if you do the repeat applications some of them work. But most don't.
