There’s a lil gopher/woodchuck(?) that dwells in my lil’ environment.. and occasionally samples my “crop”....

Wife tells me something took out ten chickens the other day, mid-morning. She didn't hear a thing, and no signs what it was.
Her dad is going to loan her his game camera for a little while.

Right!? By the time you see 'em they're gone!

That's my bet on what it was, but then that would mean it would have had to have climbed a tree. Not impossible, but less likely than a raccoon. But the raccoons are nocturnal, so how did it happen in the middle of the day?
