Saturday night's banquet coincided with Halloween, and quite a few people dressed up. Here's Kathy Benson as The King:

Here's a nice ginkgo from the open/judged exhibit, adjoining the vendor area. Since they were being judged, these had no names on them.

I mentioned below the photo that someone other than the owner told me it was grown from seed sown in 1978. It definitely looked like it had been purpose grown, and not chopped out of a landscape.

The base was pretty wide; I probably couldn't put my hands around it above the nebari.

Thanks! Totally missed that! If I "Internet" before coffee, or after work, My brain seems to wander around looking for something to connect to, that is usually a photo... "Aw... Look at de purdy pikture..." SQUIRREL!!

Here's a couple photos from the vendor area. I picked up a couple of decent trees. I really liked the show this year - it seemed larger and well attended.
