Golden Mugo

That is beautiful! What does a commissioned pot like that cost?
Honestly...I don't remember what I paid for it. Size surely plays into it. This one is 12"wide. But my husband made me promise never focus on the price tag. So I save up...and splurge. But honestly I remember thinking wow...that's a good price. Erin Pottery is far cheaper than many US potters. I've noticed that. Buy 5 pots and get free shipping. I just pay and he holds them until I eventually find 5 I like.

Beautiful pot for a beautiful tree. Do you have a link to his website? Thanks.

I would be surprised if it topped the 100USD. Vic is very reasonable, and does not really make a difference between commissioned or other pots in pricing. I do know he has a lot of commissions, and a little whle back he did not take on new orders. Might have changed though.

Thanks for the link...I believe it was over $100. But was a sound fare price. Again it's a decent size pot. 3" deep. Several firings...

He wasn't taking on commissioned when he did mine. He actually declined at first. But loves my ginkgo. When I mentioned it was for the ginkgo. He had a change of heart. So there is that. I also have around 18 of his pots. So I'm no stranger.

Thanks for sharing his link. I was busy when I posted and didn't have the time to grab it.

That Mugo has a really nice trunk line at the bottom. Have you done any pruning this fall?
I removed a couple branches to head off a knuckle and reigned in an overly strong branch in late summer. Otherwise I've just been trying to get it good and strong for a first repot next year. As long as that goes well I'll probably start doing a bit more styling in fall next year.
