For anyone having a bad day.

That'll heal over....probably.
I was expecting much worse....
One of my garden azaleas was literally split in half down the trunk by a falling branch off a big oak tree out back...
Took it in stride...it's half the size of the others now....but hey, it's alive.

No it was certainly done by the dude's foot, or at least by some action he did. When I found the plant, he had placed it back into the pot. So the tree was haphazardly floating in the pot and dirt was sprinkled everywhere. The only other thing I can think is that maybe he struck it with my mom's wheelchair. He pushed past the area with it in a hurry. There are metal tabs that stick out from the wheelchair if the foot pedals are not placed properly on.

I am a very laid back person. If you burn a slice of toast to char and the whole house is thick with smoke, I will just open the doors and shrug it off. But when it comes to my babies, I am controlling.

No one walks or trains the dog other than me.

No one touches my bonsai!!!

When it comes to the human baby (almost three year old) this doesn't apply. People tell me I am a cool parent. I let her use scissors. And not the ones with a plastic safety rim. Heh. But she can't run with them. I am not looking for a trip to the ER here!
