Anyone ever use fertilizer baskets with Biogold?

Has anyone used baskets with Biogold? Is it still effective? I see mixed things on direct on soil vs baskets. I feel like it must not make too much of a difference?

Any input appreciated!

I use the baskets throughout most of my trees. If I didn’t, the squirrels would be having neighborhood parties in my back yard. Mainly to keep the furry and flying locals from taking it.

Baskets just make it easier to remove old pellets, and that's about it. I've used fillable tea bags as well, although those can get messy to remove.

My dog has developed a taste for the biogold and will eat them if we don’t put them in the baskets 😪

Same here, except it is chipmunks for me. I like the baskets with a lid so that I can remove the fertilizer easily when I bring the tree in for display. I have seen no issues with nutrient performance since I started doing this about 8 years ago

I buy mine from here, very good service

I think it’s wish.com or alibaba that sell them in large packs for cheaper than anywhere else

I used to use them and frankly it seemed fine, but a trusted source told me poking them into the soil was best so I swapped to that.
