I love mountain laurel! Definitely one of my faves in terms of flowers.

Certainly looks like chojuho. Looks like it’s mislabeled as the label say Kobai #2. It’s absolutely not a Kobai.

Chojuho’s flowers will persist, eventually changing color slowly until they turn greenish.
