The daffodils that one of my neighbors cuts and steals every year. My neighbor Doug caught her doing it and he told her to stop that those are not her daffodils. She said they're wild daffodils. In the corner of my urban lot. Hence the sign

HA! I'm not really into killing beautiful trees. That's why all my victims are ugly. And this is a beautiful tree that would quickly croak here in the desert. Or in my care.

Bloodroot! One of my favorite native understory plants. Unfortunately this year they flowered awkwardly between the ramps (wild leeks) and their own giant leaf.

And now for something comletely different. The mouse plant. Very descrete with its privates. Fertilized by fungus knats. But reproduces itself mostly through offsets.
