Flowers 2024

This will be a great experiment! Been doing preliminary work on this plant to find its suitability to bonsai also. It’s very similar horticulturally to an azalea, so I will be interested in viewing your efforts.

Thanks for the reply! At this point in my bonsai venture, every tree I have is an experiment 🤣

I have some great support though, @yashu and @RJG2 live in my area and have been super helpful and encouraging. Yashu encouraged me to pick up this tree, I found it this spring at a local nursery in "second chance plants" section for $10!! So far it is doing well, but once I start training it, I'll make a thread in my progress, hopefully I'll remember to share it with you.

Catmint, 2 colors of Salvia, all self-seeded. My garden has achieved the chaos to which it aspires. The bit of wire you see in arching over a little mugo pine so the deer don't eat its new growth.
