For the websites i build in the past i used Google analythics to get the sites higher up the search machine not sure if you can add a youtube channel to that

I think I have learned a few things since my first post in this thread.
Rockstar.. not yet. But I think some of the vids are getting OK. Next week friday I will ost one I think is cool, on an arakawa maple.

I know. 1K view seems nothing compared to what some of these guys rake up. But for some unknown dude online, I am quite happy.
And yes, comments & likes on the youtube vids, and people that watch multiple movies from the same channel in a row are what trigger the growth. Found that out too. Not much you can do. Cannot fake public interest. Not with the numbers that youtube is serving these vids to.

These are getting VERY good, Jelle..
I pretty much stopped watching any Bonsai Youtube videos NOT presented as lectures..
But YOURS has that "scholarly information passing feel"..
I like that!
I think it's funny that most folks here don't understand how "big of a deal" you are in "the real world".
You are truly humble...
And I miss our Teacher/student conversations.. but they started happening less and less as you TAUGHT me more.
You are now my "go-to" youtube guy for my local "TinyTree" people.
PLEASE.. keep it up.

But I AM happy you enjoy my videos. I am sure you are hating the newer videos I am putting together now, if you prefer lectures. I am now working on a video on blue japanese maples!
