Korean Hornbeam. Starting autumn coloration. It may hold out for a bright yellow if we have a sunny day and the rains and winds of the next few days don’t knock the leaves down.

Korean Hornbeam with autumn crimson, Indian red and brown coloration. Just a tree still growing up but mostly out. I'm encouraging outward growth rather that upward growth.

Great fall color on the Japanese Red pines.



IDK what this JM is thinking. Still shooting new growth, I was hoping to get a nice Orange, lets see what the next four weeks bring. Same for the Larch and Bald Cypress, the first week of November is usually the sweet spot. My Elms get yellow/brown and drop.

Possibly nissa sylvatica.

I decided to mark some for spring collection. We have a few along the side of the road and they really standout in the fall. So tied ribbons around some seedling. This one has very small leaves - 3 times smaller than the rest. Now looking at the pic I am not even sure it the same thing. Color is the same, but veining is a bit off.

Where I live there is no significant change of foliage color in auttum. The only change in my garden is the color of the berries of my pyracantha.....
