Exposed root Acer p. clump.

This tree is straight up wicked! For sure. I love it.
Thank you. Blessed beyond measure to be able to finish its journey on my bench. Martin did an amazing job with it.

Victor feels he can make a pot that compliments it. As I've always loved his work...I imagine it will be perfect.

I feel like it needs a haunted house or something next to it. Its so cool.

Well...I reached out to Sergio...because I was seeing...the Bald cypress if I squinted hard at this piece. He gave me a bit of guidance to raise the tips and put movement in different directions. Here is what that brought about.

I think its not done yet though in terms of the styling and what Mach suggested... some of these branches are too close together, or overlapping one another. Take the long straight one on the right for example, it just shoots straight across two other branches and doesnt have any movement in it. You want to get movement at each bud junction and when you raise the tips, its the buds at the end of the branches that will be raised up as if searching for light. The Orange lines indicate where I think the tree needs more movement, everything here seems to be on a straight plain, not enough drama still. Maybe thats what Mach means about getting more movement in there, currently too many similarities. The material lends itself to a wild look, but not messy, you want some gnarly bends in there, twists, turns

You are seeing it in 2D. There isn't a straight branch on this tree.

But I appreciate your comments. But there isn't a straight branch to be seen.

You also are seeing an angle...not the full back. So branches behind the other. 😉 not crossing. Branches from right side of tree and left side of tree. No where near crossing.
