Erika Leaman on Pinus sylvestris

I wonder if there are people interested in seeds from the largest/most ancient/most-bonsailike/best-looking P.sylvestris from this native population, for bonsai propagation purposes.
Also never saw a tree grow horizontally.

I am, but I have ethical dilemmas on collecting seeds from caledonian pines, as their population is in decline.
I watched a bonsai Q video recently where a group hiked up a mountain side to collect goyomatsu cones. From what I remember, they had to donate a percentage of successful propergations back to the woodland for reforestation purposes.
In time, I plan to have such connections.
This is something I could happily spend the rest of my life doing.
