This one took a few days to put together, the wood was by far the in the worst condition of my sage deadwood pile however... I really liked some features on it so I spent a full day cleaning and touching it up before spending the next day grinding a channel through it.
After getting the channel carved I coated it in pine tar (as I did with the first) and let it dry out in the 90 degree weather. Applied a quick second coat before Strapping the tree into the channel... With some difficulty
,
In the end the deadwood did loose some of the features I loved however I love the result, looking forward to seeing this tree grow into something of character!
