Do you use the "ignore" feature

No your not on my list, I have no problem with whos on my list.

I have qwade, sawgrass and coh on my list. I had GEO there but gave him the benifit of the doubt because he is probably watching the wrong news channel. They never contribute anything but rankor and venom. They don't post trees and do not play nice. I find myself much more friendly not having to read that crap. I already had a person try it as an experiment that they agreed it was a much better read in a particular thread with one person on ignore. When people start out a reply with; "hey your the worst" that is just ridiculous and just fishing for a fight. Recenty one even said he tried to not reply but just couldn't help himself. Whats up with that and why is that my problem. Self control, ignore just keeps me from being baited.

I don't read all the posts sometimes and if I missed a question I apoligise. Maybe next time I will see it, nothing personal.

I don't know about likes, (don't care, not a measure of anything but being a blowhard) They are in essence removed from your world period. The only way you will know if "they" were in your thread is when someone calls them by name in a reply. Their quotes do not show up.

If they were the last person to reply in your thread, and you come back from being on a break, you may see "ignored person" in the right columne as the last reply, but thats all you will see. If one more person had replied before you sat down at the computer you would have never known anyone on ignore was there.
 
You can ignore someone but other people on a post may be responding to them. The problem arises in not reponding to something someone else says in response to something he who was ignored has said. This creates a lot of confusion in what has probably become a confusing situation anyway.

Years ago he did put me on it, yet responded at the same time, was quite amusing!

Have found the irony of Smoke putting folks on a ignore list to be all too funny!
See I thought he was the reason why this feature was invented in the first place?

I'm not, this whole thread is just plain silly... I mean you have Smoke who is telling folks he is going to put them on an ignore list, which I find quite comical seeing he has insulted more folks and run off more folks from this site than I could ever in my life time ever even imagine doing even if that was my intention, which its not. In fact, on numerous occasions he has taken great pride in the fact that he has run folks off from here, which is quite sad... I am not always been happy about the way I treated folks here, but learn along time ago from the master himself, that this was all part of how things were done here... and though things have been quite heated, for which I take responsibility for, even though I personally don't feel that I was always in the wrong, I would never in my life relish in the fact that I might of chased someone away from this site! To me this would be sad.

So, fine if he wants to play childish games, works for me... perhaps Bnut should change the setting though... Seeing that if someone is going to be put on an ignore list, why then should that person have to then see posts from the individual who can't handle the problem they created?

You know, when I first saw this thread I thought about making a comment about smoke trolling again. Things must be boring on the left coast these days.

I have no idea whether he really has me blocked, nor do I care. In any case, I must be a recent addition since he just quoted and responded to one of my posts last week. So perhaps it's just him being his standard hypocritical self.

In any case - life goes on, with or without smoke.
 
If you come to the website without logging in to your account then you can see the whole thread and what those you ignore have said.
 
Or you. Can click on ignored content at the end of the last post.
 
I have never used it. I have been part of another forum that is run by the same software and has very crabby older men defending brand name and territory like its a threat and have never ignored there either.
I believe that everyone may have there part, but still feel we could do without some rude or disrespectful posts.
