I used it on some fly fishing forums I used to visit. Most of the time the people who needed to be ignored stopped posting on their own within a few days anyway. So there really was no point.

The only person that will ever go my ignore list is me. If I reach the point where I need to ignore someone then I'll just leave the forum.

I never thought of putting people on ignore list... dispite all of the drama and the differences I really enjoy looking at everyone's work, and enjoy reading the threads! I try and check out all of them, and for the most part I do. I don't get the time to respond as much as I use to, I wish I did, juggling to many things in life and just can't always find the time.

Since there is nothing to alert them to the fact that they are being ignored how could it possibly get under their skin. The supposed ignored know they are not ignored.
