Buttonwood soaking up the late summer sun!
It has recovered well after a hard prune and partial defoliation in June. It did lose the balance branch on the right side despite my best efforts
I do find that this species is much more challenging to keep healthy in my climate compared to other tropicals, such as ficuses for example. Oh well, I’ll just have to embrace the asymmetry…or grow a new right branch I suppose!
