Chinese Quince - Fungal Infection or Sunburn?

A few days ago, a heatwave struck here for two days, temperatures rising to 100 F and while humidity dropped to 20 % at noon. Today I noticed brown spots on some of the leaves. Do you think it is related to heat and sun or is it a fungal disease? The tree was receiving 7-8 hours sun until 3-4 pm. Do Chinese Quince tolerate full sun or should I move it to shade? (This week, the temperature will be around 90 - 95 and humidity above 50 %).

This looks like sun stress to me. I keep my pseudocydonia sinensis under 30-50% shade during the hottest part of the day.

Agree. Almost certain that's sunburn. Probably too much strong sun too quick rather than dehydration but could be a combination of both.

Thanks for the help, I'll keep it in partial shade during June and August then.
