Hi everybody!
I took over a group of three large Chamaecyparis more than five years ago.
Since then, I’ve kept them healthy, regularly pruned the foliage, and thinned them out a bit.
However, the pads have become very large and puffy.
Is there any way to reduce needle length or encourage more compact budding?
So far, my usual care routine hasn’t had the desired effect.
You can see the group from behind on the first pic (i forgot the front view
& on the others the long foliage. Please ignore the poor wiring..).
I will add a picture of its front later.
Thanky you very very much in advance!
Best regards
Gregor
