So, this is for this year's NEBA club nursery stock contest.
Rules were, no bonsai pot, and under $75.
I had a horrible time finding anything too interesting in that price range - so, some simple stock, and some inspiration from @Fidur and here we go.
As purchased:
Digging down to find the roots:
First pass at choosing branches and some wiring (have only done the bottom 2/3 or so):
It looks much better in person, I swear!
