Finally had a chance to find and label some cuttings. I also realized I’ll be 60 when this contest ends.

These are all cuttings I’ve struck over the last few years and have been ignored, waiting to find a spot to plant them in the ground to fatten up.

#1, Kiyozuro Itoigawa, the only cutting from a tree I bought at Chikugo-en. Rooted in this decaying flat in an organic rooting mix.


#2, Kishu from Miniature Plant Kingdom, via Plant City Bonsai. Struck several years ago and stuck into this pot for the move 11/23.

#4, Itoigawa, cutting from a tree purchased from Evergreen Gardenworks, dug and stuck into this Anderson Flat with several others in 11/23.

I've thought about entering but I would be 73 at the end if I manage to last that long!!
