Bonsai guidance

I'm in Yorkshire. Looks like they will do better outside but will need to get them out quick to climatise as temperature is starting to drop rapidly!

If you want to get into Bonsai you should buy more trees, some starter trees that are 5-10yrs old to start with and learn while your pines grow.

I mainly have indoor trees and they're doing great and trying to grow some from seed.

Still waiting for them to germinate! So far for my acorns germinated and some Cuphea seedlings.

I'm in Huddersfield, what about you?

I’m in Doncaster, I do have another bonsai that I got at the start of the year (sweet plum tree), it’s only 6 years old like but even with that I’m struggling to get the watering right! It’s definitely a art form😂🙈

The Sweet Plum is a great tree for indoors (in my opinion)

How do you water it? I find if I spray/mist them everyday and dunk/submerge them every 1-2 weeks they do great!

Okay! I will try that tomorrow, how long do you normally submerge them for? And is it just water you submerge it in or would you put some fertiliser in there too? 🤔

When the whole pot is submerged and water is above soil level you should see bubbles coming out from around the tree. When those slow down/stop. Then you're good!

Just water. No fertiliser.
