Anyone comming to check out the Bonsai displayed
at Epcot's Flower and Garden Fest ? At the Japanese
Pavilion of the world showcase? I got a tree accepted
and it will be on display.

Really looking forward to it ! 21 trees are selected and
More than 2 million people will have the opportunity to
view the bonsai exhibit during its 10 week show !!!

Awesome Oportunity that Disney allows The Bonsai
Society of Florida to participate in. And an awesome
way to expose maybe those not necessarily familiar
with Bonsai, to it.

I will get some photos of my tree and post them here this weekend.
I was worried that the buds of new foilage wouldn't open in time,
but day before yesterday, it just began to explode all at once !!!

Very nice. Do you have any pics of the tree you'll have there? Admission to EPCOT is a little pricey just to see a few trees.

Thanks Dick and Mat, appreciate it !!!
I will get pics of tree up as soon as possible.

We take our trees to Epcot on March 6th,
which is in a couple of weeks, so I will take
photos of them displayed and post them up.

Sweet! My Neea got excepted this year as well! Ill see you there!
Congratulations !!! This is my first time participating so I am
looking forward to it !!! Haven't you had trees in before ??? I think I
remember seeing your Podocarpus. The one you have on your web site.

Yeah, I've had trees in a few times. Some I've entered and some I've sold and had others enter. Its a lot of fun for sure, and the fellow bonsai artists are always fun to keep in touch with and see. Some really amazing old pillars of the Florida bonsai community are usually present . I love hearing the old stories for sure.

Sorry, I promised to get some pics of my tree up...
and kinda got sidetracked with the cold spell we had
go through a day or so later... Having to bring everything in.

I will be doing some final prep work on the tree this weekend
seeing that it goes to show on Wednesday. I will take some
photos of it looking it's best and get them up this weekend.
I promise ... :)

Congrats on being included and thanks for the postings of previous shows. Sometimes when I see such a great collection of Bonsai I feel like my stuff is crap. Inspiration to keep refining and making things better.

Thanks I appreciate it...
A far as feeling one's stuff is crap... I don't think there is a person
in the world doing bonsai, who doesn't think their Bonsai are crap.
Even the Best, this is what keeps us all striving to be better.

Just keep going !!!
Practice make perfect !!!
:)

Congratulations! What species of tree are you entering? Can't wait to see the pics.
