Awful plant pots with over large holes.

Forgot diapers

You haven't seeded yet?

Diapers will soak up all the water!

I used to use them to clean up spilt liquids in the house!

Now get to seeding!
Unless the In-laws tried to help....;)

Beat me to it- I either use this or I stuff packing peanuts into the holes.

The packaging peanuts made me pause. When I got my thuja planting. It was raining...and I had packaging peanuts from one end of the greenhouse to the other with such a huge box. The peanuts turned to a nasty sticky mess when wet. I had a heck of a time getting them off my shoes and used a paint scraper to get what was smashed into the flooring of the greenhouse and what blew out onto the deck from wind and was also nasty clumps of goo. I am surprised it doesn't block the hole entirely...sticking them into the holes. Unless it's the type that was put into the box for my shipment. But I am one to state...water and packaging peanuts don't always mix well...and can be a bloody mess to clean up.

Only during the first watering I put the diaper in water the diaper till it's full then add my soil or choice. Some times I'll even put a slit in the inside of the diaper. BC love the moistness.

And yes I'm seeding the juniper soon they need a warm spell before a cold spell to germ :)

O btw no the in-laws are done helping with the yard it's all on me now. May get my dad, he offered to help. I trust him a whole lot more he won't try and over help lol.

Those were probably the water soluble one made from corn starch. Have to use the styrofoam ones Been doing it for years in thousands of plastic pots with no issues.
