which tier?I signed up, it's a great resource live feeds are awesome, interactive, and the kind of detail with close ups that you don't see anywhere else.
I watched Ryan do this live a month or so ago and I learned a ton of useful info. I have been working on the idea to a nice Larch forest for about 2 years and watching this video was eye opening. hmmm maybe my future forest should go on rock, there is so much more interest adding rock but it has to be done right and finding the right rock seems just as hard as getting good trees.I found his rock planting interesting, big, dynamic, and powerful.
Yessssss. We don’t have to be Ryan Neil or need sponsors to get an inexpensive meeting room at a convenient time and location. BYOB!I vote for having many more bonsai events in this kind of laid back social setting
We do here in the eastern part of the country.? Raises question if hi level western artists ever study with each other?
Audio was incredibly difficult last night. We switched out one video camera and one 50' SDI cable (that had been run along ceiling joists).
The part of town where the event happened has some large radio repeater towers nearby. The radio noise floor is terrible. Our original setup was picking up a local pop radio station (I heard Taylor Swift on the line during tests) and also included some data transmission noise.
Would love to be able to afford this. Have gained a TON just from visiting Ryan, his place, asking questions, seeing his trees. Must wonder why would guest artist be needed

The concept of elongated growth and mound growth. How to control these factors.I signed up for Tier 2 and have really been enjoying the archived videos. I really like the close ups because it gives me an opportunity to appreciate some of the small details that typically get obscured in videos taking from a distance. Simple things like curvature to branches after wiring.
Made all my $$$ back when Ryan talks about the break down of strength of native junipers vs Japanese juniper. The soil issues on common junipers. Pruning selection with native junipers.
Could you please elaborate on these?
