This group seems to be responding quite well, so I'll begin a progression.

I started it in early April, from hedging stock. I found this group of trees quite interesting, with angular movement in the trunks and lots of angular branches and decent node lengths.

I wired all 3 trees together tightly and made some cuts where I'd like more roots, applied root homone. Left quite a bit of root on, from experience Beech dont take aggressive root removal kindly, unlike Hornbeam, so this will be a process.

Looking really good. Great representation of the trees around you.
Beech are a personal favorite. Some of the best climbing trees.
 
WOW...that is Very nice Bobby. Timely post for me...thank you.
I had a look at mine yesterday. It can be layered off this coming season.
Some years ago I layered a 3" red beech...to use the top. I couldn't throw away the bottom, so I stuck it in the grow bed. It exploded after with strong shoots....into a beautiful multi trunk, with a think base.
