This sounds like a great event!

Aside from the N.C. Arb's spectacular bonsai collection, the vendors sound great. Bonsai Learning Center always has some great stuff when they're at the Potomac Bonsai Association show and sale up here in D.C.

Blue Ridge Bonsai Society has some pretty spectacular bonsai in addition to the Arb's collection. Come join us !

I might just have to make the effort to go... I miss regular trips to the arboretum since the Expo stopped.

As of now I plan to attend Saturday morning for a few hours. Please say hello!!! I’m really looking forward to it… I miss the arboretum and all the folks that were associated with the Expos!

Then I will probably miss you, I am not a morning person. My first show was the 2019 expo, and I was blown away by it, I hope to one day go to another, this show won't be that. However if things keep going at this momentum, I won't be surprised if there is a recurring one starting in 2027.

It looks like we may have a decent crowd coming through over the weekend-- a lot of us really miss the old expo days. There will be a pretty large exhibit of advanced trees (some really spectacular ones) as well as an intermediate and beginner displays. I believe their will also be kusamono and suiseki diplays and possibly demos. And of course the amazing NC Arboretum Bonsai Garden will be open. Lastly, myself and Brad with the bonsai learning center will be there. I plan to have a lot of new work, including some big pots-- here are a few new ones both small and large.
