Oddly enough, I think the Japanese version is harder to get than the English translation.
As far as I know, it's never been reprinted. My copy was printed in 1964. It took me quite a bit of searching to find one. The original is a bit clunky, but holds some invaluable information and the illustrations are great. I don't know how the translation differs, but I'm really glad I got mine.
I've seen photos of the English one, and have always been curious, is it quite large? It looks like a coffee table book. Mine is letter size (tiny).

It's not large... more like a "normal" book size but the binding is along the short edge.
