WTB a Monterrey cypress for landscape. No cultivar - just straight/generic Monterrey cypress. If I could get something 6' or so that would be great - Monterrey cypress is so flexible as a young tree you could probably bend down the top 2' for shipping.

They are broadly available in nurseries on the West Coast - I just can't find anyone to ship slightly larger trees. I bought four smaller trees from Forest Farm in 2021, and they are now 6' tall(!) so I need another to match.

I'm basically asking someone to go nursery picking and shipping for me :)

I am heading to a local wholesale nursery later this week that has some 1gal cans. Dont know the cost or the shipping costs but I could pick one up for you.
Ship it more or less bare rooted would be easier and only a few days shipping.
Can you get a shipping cost from 95003, I will also need some sort of box.

Thank you! 1 gallon may be too small - I am probably looking for 5 gallon size - something 6' or taller. I don't care about bare root or not - temps are cool enough now.

I will happily pay cost of tree, cost of all packing materials, plus cost of shipping. I will even toss in $50 for labor. The only nurseries I can find on the west coast who are willing to ship will only ship small plants. The trees I have currently are 1 gallon trees I bought a few years ago... but Monterrey Cypress grow fast and they are now 6'-8'(!)

I am going to the nursery this week, I will check to see if he has anything larger. He has a stash of "older" conifers that have not sold or been pruned that I go through when I am there.
Ill keep you posted on what I find.

If all others fall short, send me a message. I'd love to support (kinda like a donation, right?) and I'm sure my neck of the woods has something in your desires.

This might be what you are looking for.... 1 gallon can, ~5 feet tall, decent caliper and lots of juvenile growth at the base.
Can be sent in a couple of 3' tubes, with some soil wrapped in a baggie.

Let me know if this interests you.
