I am looking to buy a cherry variety, preferably a three year old stock or more, that is compatible with zone 7b. I need it shipped during January, if possible. I am interested in any varieties, sweet or bitter, I am mainly focused on a pink flowering one for bonsai and a sweet one for production. If anyone knows a trustworthy website or sells them themselves, feel free to contact me via PM.

Thanks, Joe

 I'm not sure what variety your looking for...I have a contorted cherry I got from Steve with http://www.plantcitybonsai.com call Steve...and ask. He will send you photos of some if he has any. Kojo no mai or also known as a contorted cherry. Is the variety I purchased. The photos of it not styled...since it was recently potted. Spring is when I will most likely work it some.

I am not looking for a specific variety, just one with specific properties. I couldn't find that variety on the website you posted?

He doesn't show stock inventory...a call to Steve or go onto Facebook and look him up there. Post a question to his wall. But I prefer a phone call...it's quicker. His packaging is beyond amazing. I took photos of it and shared my experience under venders I think.

A photo of my wisteria that came from him is on his wall...of it in bloom. :o He is an amazing guy. Never met him in person...Adair a member here teaches some classes there gave me a lead. Worth the call. His prices are fare.

Has anyone ordered a cherry from Bill at internationalbonsai? I am likely going to place an order soon and would like to get an idea of what the cherries come as. I plan on maybe a shimp, red pine, and a cherry from him. Experiences as far as the akebono cherry? Thanks
Joe

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm looking for something a little larger than that, based on the battery.

JOER if you did not have the battery beside that pot, how large would you think that tree was ? That's the illusion of Bonsai and what makes the Shohin and Mame sized Bonsai so special while being so hard to achieve.

Probably does not need to be said but Barbados Cherry is not a Cherry. One of my favorites is Nanking Cherry or Prunus tomentosa. I love the leaves and the bark. Plus they do good in Vegas which is a plus. Also they are quite cheap from places that sell them for shrubs.

Do you have any pics? After research I have found they are great for bonsai and Google images has some great examples, and likely will get one.
