Found this on my local Nextdoor app for $50, it is metal and wood and I’m thinking about getting it to hold my shohin and mame bonsai. What you guys think ?

I'd be worried about how it weather's more than anything else. Outside it should get enough light as long as you position it right for the sun, but rain and snow could play hell on the materials.
You'd want to treat the wood and may have to paint the metal routinely.

Yes ..I thought about that too, even if it lasted a couple of seasons it would be ok lol. The metal looks galvanized so it might be able to hold up. Thanks

Note the hand holding it up in the pic. No visible base to stay upright. I take it you are not planning to hold it all day and night so some modifications will be required to make this self supporting.

Definitely need to remove quite a few shelves to allow enough light for lower trees and consider placement in the yard. Even well spaced multi storey shelving plays havoc, with lower trees developing long, one sided growth seeking sunlight.

Let us know how it goes when you get this one installed.
