Sorry I've tried the search box and G**gle but got nowhere

Someone posted a real useful table comparing doubling up wire compared to going up .5mm

I obviously forgot to bookmark it, I would really appreciate if someone who did could share a link please?

The bigger question is going to be... aluminum versus copper :)

Diving back into my math days, and assuming the strength of the wire is a function of the cross-sectional area of the wire...

πr² = cross sectional area of a wire, so the comparable strength will be equal to the square of the radius of the wire... So a wire that is 10mm in diameter will be 4 times as strong as a 5 mm wire. In other words, the ratio of the wire thickness, squared :)
