Winter wash twice?

So to make sure i get everything killed or prevented I want to use lime sulpher wash and copper fungicide.
Should I use them a few weeks apart or 1 month apart. Or is a gap of more than a week unnecessary?
Maybe its better to switch one of the products for something else?
