Looks like it was a great show!
It’s not really here nor there, but personally, I really don’t like the American system of prizes. I think the Japanese system of awarding the Kokufu prize to the trees that deserve it makes a lot more sense. Maybe that is 8 trees, maybe it is zero.
The American system of “best this” and “best that” really irks me.
Anyway, that’s my 2 cents. Carry on.

I can’t be the only that thinks it’s odd that every single tree at the “WINTER SILHOUETTE” SHOW that won a prize, was in fact, NOT in winter silhouette.

I get it... but I think they just need to rename the show. For example they had an award for "Best Tropical". Perhaps they just need to rename it the Winter Show and give an award for "Best Winter Silhouette"? For example, @arjun's trident won an award (well deserved) but it was still dropping leaves and the fallen leaves were part of the display. It's hard to do with many of the vendors needing to stay at their tables - and people all having different schedules. Usually, because I am staying for the banquet, I don't arrive on Saturday until noon or slightly later. I am used to hearing about all the people "I just missed" For example, I have lost track of the number of times I "almost" met @johng

The realism is outstanding! I feel like im there, walking up the hill, stepping over tree roots, bracken, ground cover. I want to climb down and peer into the cave, it could be home to bats and foxes

Hey all. I’m trying to find the name of a vendor I purchased from at the show. If you were going from the exhibit area to the vender area and go left, his booth was in the center of the room roughly. I’m terrible with names…
