hello, i'm very new. your ideas are needed. I found a sapling like this in a local nursery. actually pre bonsai. what kind of breed do you think? How much (in money amount) is it worth buying? Is it worth spending time working on it?
ahaa haaa crazy man you ...Welcome to Crazy!
These are the best shitty photos I have ever seen!
Is that a flyable finch cage in the background?
Everyone's time is worth more than we put into these trees for our own selfish satisfaction.
If you get more satisfaction out of the money you can make doing something other than working with this tree it is not worth working.
If you will get more satisfaction out of losing the money you could have been making while working this tree, have at it.
The human problem is needing money to live, while still needing this satisfaction.
Levels vary.

thank you...Looks like a Mugo pine. I wouldn't attempt to value it as there are too many variables. Also I have to say I am a cheapskate. I think it is workable but I am not terribly excited about it.
thank you. such references are important to me. the seller said that new alternatives will come ... let's evaluate together again.I buy similar mugo from a local garden center for less than $25.
That is my thought too. 25-35EI buy similar mugo from a local garden center for less than $25.
thank youThat is my thought too. 25-35E

you actually wrote my fantasy ... true I agree too. but I needed confirmation when I was a beginner.
thank you. I replied like this because you are very sincere.
Do they clean laundry with finches in yourabouts? But is that a finch cage or not!?
Our local laundromat has one
If you have a wholesale nursery. The more commercial Garden Centres charge more than 8 here.I think this is a very worthy piece of material, but I personally, am not willing to pay more for it because someone else found it for 8 bucks at a nursery and potted it.
I think you can find your own 8dollar mugo with equal or more potential.
But is that a finch cage or not!?
Our local laundromat has one, that somehow survived a fire (read insurance scam), so I have concern for them...lol!
Truth...

That one ...for me....under $40 and I'd consider it.
Cut that kick stand off and it's not too bad.

if this is not mugo.... it is scots pine...I'm not either, it is a guess. What do you think it might be?
I had considered that but it resembles my one mugo pine more than any of my 4 scots pines. Hard to know when not in hand.if this is not mugo.... it is scots pine...
